50+ online tools built and published

Alongside larger software projects, I have built and published more than 50 online tools through Fileion's tools platform.

04 — FILEION

Fileion.Com is both one of my major ongoing projects and the platform through which many of my online tools are published. Software and tools grow from the same place.

06 — WHY I BUILD

Most of what's on this page started as a small, specific problem rather than a grand plan. I build because turning an idea into working software is the fastest way I know to actually understand it — reading about a system only gets you so far compared to building one.

I lean toward practical tools over impressive architecture. A utility that saves someone a few minutes, published and actually used, matters more to me than a more ambitious project that never ships. That's part of why online tools make up such a large share of what I've built.

Each project is also a chance to improve on the last one — better structure, fewer assumptions, a clearer sense of what the software actually needs to do. Building this way, repeatedly, has taught me more about systems than studying them in isolation ever could.
